A free Medical Health checkup camp was organized for general public on 14th October, 2025at Hireguntanur , Chitradurga Organized by Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital and SJM institute of technology NSS team. The camp was coordinated by Dr. Rajesh M.S. Medical Superintendent BMCH. The team members of the Hospital were Doctors from the various clinical departments, interns, staff nurse and Public Relations Team.

The camp was started at 10.00 am and extended till 2.00 pm. Approximately 150 beneficiaries attended the camp and for them Free physical examination along with free Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure tests were provided by the hospital and Doctors advised them various medicines and treatment during the camp. Around 20 patients were referred to Basaveshwara Medical College Hospital for further treatment and follow-up.
